Our Captain John Smith Suite will make you feel extra special with a king-size four-poster bed and 18th century colonial decor, a wingback chair, premium cable television, and private bath with steam shower. French doors lead to the second room with additional seating, a wet bar sink and refrigerator in an antique piece, fireplace and 2nd televisions. A pull-out queen-size couch provides additional sleeping accommodations. Another set of French doors lead out to the "Roof Top Garden," with a view of the garden, woods, and a grapevine-covered arbor.

Captain John Smith was an English soldier, explorer, colonial Governor and author, He played an important role in the establishment of the Jamestown Colony, the first permanent English Settlement in North America in the early 17th century. When Jamestown was established in 1606, Smith trained the first settlers to farm and work, thus saving the colony from early devastation.
